Student Support

We’ve got your back

The theatre school environment is fast-paced, exhilarating and exciting, but it can also feel challenging at times. Being a performing arts student isn’t always easy, and we offer a fantastic support network that’s there for you whenever you need it.

As well as providing ongoing help with your academic and practical studies, our student support services team are always available to help with whatever life throws at you during your time here. Big or small, we’ve got your back.

Mindfulness & Resilience Training

There’s no denying it, the entertainment industry is a crazy, colourful rollercoaster of emotions. This is not a career choice for the faint-hearted.

To support, we offer regular mindfulness and resilience training, ensuring all ICTheatre graduates are well-equipped to take on anything the industry throws at them. In fact, we’ve seen many of our students use their more challenging experiences as creative inspiration. That’s the ICTheatre difference.

You’ll also have access to a range of wellbeing services, including counselling, learning support, health, mindfulness, nutritional guidance, and performance psychology advice as well as links to local mental health support groups.

Diversity & Inclusion

We’re on a mission to diversify the arts, bringing creatives from all different backgrounds together to create a richer depth to the industry. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to performing arts training here, and we’re committed to a policy of equal opportunities that celebrates the individual. All of our services available to every student, whatever your background, culture, gender or sexuality.
