Fees and Finance

Everything you need to know

We understand that being a student can be expensive, so we make sure that BRICTT is great value for money, offering specialised help to those who need financial support along the way.

Performing Arts, Stage and Drama Schools often charge fees of up to £15,000 per year. But at BRICTT, we’re uniquely positioned to offer outstanding quality and value to our students.

This means that our undergraduate three year BA (Hons) in Performing Arts degree course is priced at £9,000 per annum for UK and EU students. This course is formally validated and fully accredited by the University of Sussex, meaning students may apply to the Student Loans Company (SLC) to cover £6,165 of the tuition fees payable every year. You’ll also be entitled to subsistence, which will help to cover living costs. Students can apply for a maintenance loan at the same time as the tuition fee loan. The maintenance loan can be up to £8,300 per annum and is paid directly to the student at the start of each term.

The remaining £2,835 of the fees would need to be paid by the student. Please be aware, however, that student funding for courses is not available to everyone, so it’s worth checking if you’re eligible before applying for your course.

Students from Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales should select the appropriate link for finance:

Scotland: saas.gov.uk

Wales: studentfinancewales.co.uk

EU students may be able to get a student loan to cover tuition costs. If you’re an EU student, information about how to apply can be found at: direct.gov.uk/studentfinance (please select ’students from other EU countries’).

UK and EU Students:

  • £9,000 (Deposit required £500)
  • Balance can be paid in monthly instalments throughout the academic year.

Non-EU Students:

  • £18,000 (Deposit required £1,000)
  • Balance can be paid in monthly instalments throughout the academic year.

Please note, students from countries within the European Economic Area (EEA) and not from a country formally within the European Union (EU) will not be eligible for the UK and EU fee and instead will be asked to pay the Non-EU fee.

For students to be eligible for SLC funding, they must be studying a designated course. Courses at BRICTT are designated each year by the Department for Education. Visit www.hefce.ac.uk/reg/desig/cdforstudents for more information.
