George Rae

Singing teacher

George is a professional actor and vocal coach. Most recently, George played Xanthias in the critically acclaimed UK premiere of Nathan Lane’s revised Broadway version of Sondheim’s The Frogs (Jermyn Street Theatre). His West End credits include; Benjamin in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (West End/UK national tour); Schlomo in Fame with Barbara Dickson; Rick in A Slice of Saturday Night with Norman Pace; Ko-Ko (u/s) in The Mikado (Carl Rosa USA/Canada tours).

George gained national critical acclaim and three best actor award nominations for his portrayal of Otto Kringelein in Grand Hotel (Southwark Playhouse).  In January 2017, he was featured by Mark Shenton as one of The Best Leading Men in UK Musical Theatre (The Stage).  Future engagements include his 2018 Feinstein’s/54 Below and New York City concert debut with his cabaret show, Life is a Caba-RAE: A Scot in New York!
