Dorothy Rosser

Acting Technique

Dorothy has an MA in Voice Studies from Central School of Speech and Drama and fifteen years experience as a Voice teacher and Accent and dialect Coach. She has worked for the last seven years as a Voice coach at Italia Conti, London.

As well as joining us as a Acting Tecnique tutor at BRICTT, Dorothy is a voice teacher for the Foundation and Diploma course at The Academy Of Creative Training in Brighton and is a visiting lecturer at Sussex University, as well as working nationally and internationally with actors , acting students, politicians and lecturers.

She helps develop dynamic vocal strength, clarity and range. The range of skills and techniques used enable participants to fulfil their performance potential, facilitating confidence, clarity and impact.

Dorothy has an egalitarian approach encouraging and drawing out individual inspiration, personal confidence, authenticity and energy. She creates a safe, non-judgmental environment.
