Visiting Faculty / West End Performer

Ashleigh graduated from Guildford School of Acting with the Principal’s Award for Musical Theatre and the Margaret Veale Award for Singing. Ashleigh is currently appearing as Raquel Turner in Only Fools & Horses, The Musical, based on the hit BBC Comedy, at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London’s West End.

Her other theatre credits include Jennifer Lore in Nativity! The Musical, (UK Tour & Eventim Apollo); Elphaba in Wicked, (West End and UK Tour); Kathy in Vanities (West End); Stephanie Zinoni in Cool Rider (West End); Miranda in Betwixt (West End); Amy is Stephen Sondheim's Company (AAC); Martha in The Secret Garden (UK Tour); Lorraine in I Dreamed A Dream (UK Tour); Kim in Taboo (UK Tour); Miss Lynch in Grease (UK Tour); Amanda in After the Turn (Courtyard Theatre); Kirsty in Terry Pratchett’s Only You Can Save Mankind (Edinburgh Pleasance); Emily in Myths and Hymns (Finborough Theatre) and The Administrator in NHS The Musical (Theatre Royal, Plymouth).

For Television, Ashleigh played the Hotel Nurse in the Bafta Award Winning comedy, Sally4Ever, directed by and starring Julia Davis (Sky Comedy). Other credits include Tina Woodward in Doctors (BBC); Desperately Seeking Subo and There’s Something About Susan, both for STV. Ashleigh also featured as a lead vocalist on a commercial campaign for Admiral Multicar and played Kate in the Buddy Campaign for First Direct Bank.

Ashleigh regularly appears in concert as a Guest Vocalist, most notably with the BBC Concert Orchestra on Friday Night is Music Night for BBC Radio 2 and with the Hallé Orchestra at various venues. In 2016 she recorded “Bridge Over Troubled Water” with John Barrowman for his album, You Raise Me Up. She went on to perform this with him on his tour at the London Palladium. Other concert work includes Susan Boyle in Concert (UK Tour): The West End Men (UK Tour), Lee Mead and Friends (Pheasantry); Momentous Musicals (UK Tour) Scott Alan Live (Indig02) and many more.
