Masterclasses

In 2017 we had an array of special guests to visit here at BRICTT, our training professionals had a masterclass every Friday where they learnt new skills from some of the best in the business, these included improvisation, West End choreography to acting for television and screen.

Our first years will be continuing with opportunities such as these into their second term, where alongside their masterclasses they’ll be taking part in extra workshops including; circus skills, ballroom dancing, acting for camera, Estill vocal coaching, heels commercial choreography, West End audition simulations and many more…

  •   Lindon Barr: Choreography Masterclass

 

During induction week we had worldwide choreographer Lindon Barr in for an intensive choreography workshop. In just a few hours they mastered a routine and performed it in a music video…

 

 

  •   The Hiccup Project: Improvisation Masterclass

 

“Let the music influence your body” – Comedy dance duo The Hiccup Project got our TP’s to let loose in some improvisational exercises, focusing on the voice, the body and expression…

 

  •   CJ Johnson: Script and Stage Masterclass

 

“It’s unbelievable how much you can command the stage just by having a real stillness about you” -  West End Performer, CJ Johnson from the cast of 42nd Street​ came in to teach our TP’s a scene from 42nd Street.  They went through scripting, blocked out scenes from the show and had a special Q&A with CJ.

 

  • Dominic Keavey: Screen Acting Masterclass

 

“Acting is about making choices, it’s not right or wrong, it’s a choice” - Well known television director, Dominic Keavey lead a masterclass focusing on acting for screen, where our TP’s gained insider knowledge and tips on being in front of the camera…

 

  • Anna Jane Casey: West End ‘Chicago’ Masterclass

 

To finish off the first term, West End Performer AJ lead a choreography masterclass where our TP’s learnt the routine to ‘Hot Honey Rag’ from Chicago and had a Q&A with AJ herself…
