Fees and Finance

Everything you need to know

We understand that being a student can be expensive, so we make sure that BRICTT is great value for money, offering specialised help to those who need financial support along the way.

Performing Arts, Stage and Drama Schools often charge fees of up to £15,000 per year. But at BRICTT, we’re uniquely positioned to offer outstanding quality and value to our students.

This means that our undergraduate three year BA (Hons) in Acting and Performance degree course is priced at £9,000 per annum for UK and EU students. This course is formally validated and fully accredited by the University of Sussex, meaning students may apply to the Student Loan Company (SLC) to cover £6,165 of the tuition fees payable every year. You’ll also be entitled to subsistence, which will help to cover living costs.

The remaining £2,835 would need to be paid by the student before 15th August 2018. Please be aware, however, that student funding for courses is not available to everyone, so it’s worth checking if you’re eligible before applying for your course.

Students from Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales should select the appropriate link for finance:

Northern Ireland: studentfinanceni.co.uk

Scotland: saas.gov.uk

Wales: studentfinancewales.co.uk

EU students may be able to get a student loan to cover tuition costs. If you’re an EU student, information about how to apply can be found at: direct.gov.uk/studentfinance (please select ’students from other EU countries’).

UK and EU Students:

  • £9,000 (Deposit required £1,000)
  • Balance paid within six weeks

Non-EU Students:

  • £18,000 (Deposit required £2,500)
  • Balance paid within six weeks

Please note, students from countries within the European Economic Area (EEA) and not from a country formally within the European Union (EU) will not be eligible for the UK and EU fee and instead will be asked to pay the Non-EU fee.

For students to be eligible for SLC funding, they must be studying a designated course. Courses at BRICTT are designated each year by the Department for Education. We’ve made an application for our courses to be designated for the 2018-19 academic year and we expect this process to be completed in early 2018. Visit www.hefce.ac.uk/reg/desig/cdforstudents for more information.

Please be advised that a minimum level of essential equipment is required to start your studies with BRICTT. For more information, please contact Student Services on 01273 603333 or email [email protected]
